Very attractive layout. The food is okay... I am sure they substituted something other than the Greygoose I requested in the mixed drinks, which yielded bad results.

Went to Kooma last weekend for a “parents night out.” Everything was “good”. Nothing really stood out and blew you away, but everything was good. Food was good. Quality was good though, seemingly slightly overpriced. Service was good. Atmosphere was probably a little better than good. Ambiance was fun and lively. People were enjoying themselves. Started with the pan fried dumplings, shumai and edamame. The pan fried dumplings were cooked well with a perfect crisp on the bottom. The shumai and edamame were done well too. We got a variety of rolls that looked very artsy and tasted good too. I will say that my drinks were ok, but they did provide fantastic pours. And the others in my party really liked their cocktails. Definitely a plus in their favor. I would absolutely go back as it was a very fun night and the restaurant fit perfectly.

Everything was fine until... I didn't take a photo of the first roll because I couldn't see it in time.

This place is a pretty good location to have sushi in a nice crossover style. There is a big variety of roles in very different styles, with a nice local flavor of things. Definitely worth to try the roles covered in tempura, it’s something you don’t get everywhere. The service is friendly and takes good care. The offered soups are tasty, too. Price/value is in a good relationship here.
